Contributions to be considered for publication in ABR should be sent to: editor@australasianbirdresearch.org and be marked for the attention of the Editors. Contributions as Word or Pages files are acceptable. If associated graphs have been created in Excel or Numbers, authors are requested to submit the files in addition to the manuscript. Detailed guidance on illustrations, maps and tables etc. can be provided by the Editor.

Further Submission Information
The ABR Editorial Board aims to accept or reject manuscripts within a week of submission. Submissions will be accepted at the discretion of the Editorial Board.
ABR will be online only, and all contributions will be published in PDF only. ABR will have an ISSN, and all published contributions will have a DOI.
All accepted contributions will be subjected to an independent light review. This will allow ABR to publish contributions that may not be accepted by national or international journals.
The Macquarie Dictionary (7th edition) is used for spelling, hyphenation etc.
All bird names are given in the form used in BirdLife Australia’s Working List of Australian Bird Names; common names have maximal capitalisation and scientific names are in italic type.
